I'm Megan. Pleased to make your digital acquaintance!

I'm a mom of two boys, farmer's wife, and basically an old woman trapped inside a young(ish) body. Here on my blog you'll find inspiration to fill your home, table, and even your soul.

After living in the suburbs of Kansas City most of my life, fate would have it that I marry a farmer and move to a small town. Keeping up with the busyness of farming and raising our two rowdy boys, I take on life with a heavy dose of humor, coffee, and good eats. It's the fuel that keeps me going!

Since the four walls of my home are where I exist all day every day, it also has become my creative outlet. Decorating for the seasons, thrifting, antiquing, rearranging, and then rearranging again- all give me life. Desiging the backdrop of our family memories is a job I take seriously and love that anyone can feel at home in my house when they walk in the door. All while stretching my dollar as far as it will go (which isn't nearly as far as I wish most days)!

I have long dreamt of beginning a blog/digital presence to help inspire, connect, and encourage others. It took me an incredibly long time to build the courage I needed to make it happen- and here you are! It is my hope that anyone who shows up here can feel like they've shown up to the house of an old friend. A feeling that's comfortable, familiar, relatable, full of laughter, and beauty.
